Rabbit Proof Vegetable Patch

Rabbit Proof Vegetable Patch

We are very excited that at last we have the start of our vegetable patch! If you regularly follow out blog you will know that the Wildlife likes to strike back, so we have had to create Fort Knox to stop the fluffy bunnies (!) thinking we have created them a handy larder-cum-restaurant.

Ditch Work

Ditch Work

Mr Liam Lambert was back on site…must stop calling our home a site!

This time he was a week late as we had already shifted approx. 6-8 tons of sand and soil by hand (!) to make way for the willow coppice, but we always have things that need doing if you have a JCB for 10 minutes! This time it was finally clearing the last of the soil/rubble that the previous owner had excavated for the new drainage ditch. Roe Deer Fawn/Kid

Roe Deer Fawn/Kid

Well continuing the wildlife at The Farm theme, I thought you might like to see a poor quality picture of our very own Bambi!

However I think strictly speaking a baby Roe Deer is actually a ‘Kid’. Oh no…does that mean we now have four kids LOL :)
