Belated Bonfire Night Pics

Our usual option for Fireworks Night was not on this year, so we thought rather than let the kids miss out, we would have a little token gesture at The Farm.
We built a modest litte bonfire, and bought a small ‘no bang’ selection box of fireworks. Great fun was had by all, despite a near miss from an earth-bound rocket that neatly embedded itself in the garden not far away from where I was standing.
A lesson there kids, don’t look up once the rocket has exploded in the sky! (Actually I think it was more to do with the near gale force winds that despite my best efforts to shoot away actually got blown back!)
Maybe next year if we do one it would be accompanied with one of our very own pigs spit-roasted!!
