Arrghhh!! I have just tried to grab every available minute this weekend, which was hard as there was a lot on, to cut the grass around the house! I was hoping by now to be using a rideon or tractor mower, but the one on offer is still not great 
So it was back to the petrol driven Hayter Harrier walk behind. It took in total about 6 hours I think, this included some fantastic support from my eldest son who was following behind with the wheel barrow to take the collected grass to the compost heap. He was a real star and it would have taken even longer without his help.
One of the reasons it took soo long was I had left it hoping for some news on a rideon, that was a mistake! Anyway, it looks very tidy now and much more manageable for the next cut!
