Land Survey Begins – Anglia Land Surveys

Monday, September 22nd, 2008 at 11:21 pm by Nigel

Land SurveyThe land survey began today, and Anglia Land Surveys were back! It was a glorious day, it was still, warm and very sunny and I was very envious as I was stuck at work.

This survey will form the back-bone for our garden design.

It will indicate to scale the location of the boundaries, trees (including heights, canopy sizes, and trunk sizes) as well as the rise and fall of the land etc. and any other significant features like ponds, beds, ditches etc.

We can’t wait to get the plan, and for Sam to then start working on the design. However, we also need to finalise the changes we are making to the house, as any new windows and views opened up will be taken into consideration for the design.

1 step down, at least for the garden!

    Hi Tom!

Thanks for dropping by, glad you have enjoyed it. I think it was helped by the glorious weather ;) !

We are looking to see if we can get the plans rendered into a 3-d model and then create a walk-through movie of the house (and land?). We could then upload this into YouTube and share it with the folks on the blog. Has ALS ever been asked to do this before?

    Cheers, Nigel
