Forgot to say yesterday, but we enjoyed our first country walk yesterday directly from The Farm. On advice from our super neighbours, we popped over the road and proceeded to walk along a wide grassed margin around a field of stubble. There were wide reaching views over the fields, the hedgerows were full of blackberries and the sun was shining.
I should break this country idyll by saying that our youngest whined most of the way round, and by the time we had finished we could quite happily have planted him head first into the field or fed him to the horses! Still it was lovely to have access to all of this direct from our doorstep … the dream is happening!!
