We really have done it – it’s quite hard to take it in and actually believe! We have waited sooo long for this and now it has happened. As Tammy wrote, it is almost quite surreal, especially as we are not even in Norfolk at all.
The plan now is to get up early tomorrow morning so we can get back to Norfolk in time to collect the keys from Mr P before he goes away for the weekend.
I feel like a runner who has just crossed the tape in first place after a close race. Exhausted by the effort, but thrilled with the result. It has been a real emotional roller coaster over the last 10 weeks since our offer was accepted – they say buying and selling houses is stressful, they ain’t kidding!
But, by the grace of God, we have finally made it to this moment and we are all really looking forward now to ‘relaxing’ into the knowledge and letting the reality sink in. Now the fun begins!!
We already know the house needs work doing to it before we can move in…guess we had better get started…
